It's been confirmed that the disabled aircraft has been removed from the ramp so we're back operating with all of our tie down spaces. Always worth reminding we are a short airfield (with no VASI) and because of that there is a tendency to come in too high and too fast on approach. If there isn't a solid touchdown within the first third of the runway it's best to go around. There is little forgiveness for overshooting with marsh at both ends of the runway and breaking hard is quick to pop tires.
